Our Story

Excepsure was founded by Chip Craze, Owner, President, and CEO, who brings more than 30 years of experience in the non-standard auto insurance industry.

He is supported by a proven leadership team with deep roots in building and operating successful non-standard auto programs.

The foundation of Excepsure is built on decades of industry experience:

• 1979 – New South Insurance Brokers of Georgia was founded as a non-standard MGA

• 1988 – Southeastern Security Insurance Company was established and grew into one of the largest non-standard auto insurers in Georgia

• 2000 – The company was acquired by Everest National Insurance Company, where the team continued to operate and grow the business

• 2013 – The program transitioned to Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, where leadership continued to manage and expand operations

• 2022 – Excepsure was founded to bring this experience together into a modern MGA platform
